Each country in Season 1 — Korea and Japan — fields a national team: a curated roster of its strongest Aster traders, selected by the 0x1 team based on historical on-chain performance. National teams carry more weight in the Nation score calculation than Supporters and receive more highlights.

What the selected National Trader is

Pre-selected roster

National traders are not self-registered. They are identified and invited by 0x1 based on on-chain trading history on Aster. An invitation does not guarantee a spot — and accept the team agreement before the season opens.

Anchor traders

National team traders serve as the anchor for their country’s leaderboard presence. Their realized PnL forms the core of the country score, and they are the primary profiles that followers discover when they visit the Partnership tab.

More Benefits

Top 3 PnL National Traders will have Official ASTER Ambassador selection, VIP access to ASTER/Binance/BNB Chain events, and eligibility as a panelist or speaker, Ongoing social media promotions etc.

Visibility

National traders are featured prominently in the 0x1 leaderboard during the season window, with a country badge and team affiliation visible to all followers.

Selection criteria

0x1 evaluates potential national traders across four dimensions. All dimensions are derived from publicly verifiable on-chain data on Aster.
Not the single best month, but PnL stability across the 90 days prior to selection. A trader with three consecutive positive months at moderate size ranks above a mirror trader with one outsized month followed by two drawdowns.
A minimum cumulative volume threshold (TBA USDT notional, 90-day window) ensures national traders are active, liquid traders — not low-frequency outliers who happened to get one trade right.
Maximum drawdown in the selection window must be below TBA%. Traders who consistently blow through loss limits are not appropriate anchors for followers who mirror them.
Minimum TBA% win rate on closed positions in the selection window. Win rate alone is not sufficient (a 100% win rate on tiny positions with one catastrophic loss is not good), but it is a necessary baseline.

Roles within the national team

One trader per national team is designated captain. The captain’s profile is the primary feature placement in the Partnership tab. The captain has no special scoring weight — the designation is representational and carries a higher individual prize allocation. Captains are selected from the national roster by the 0x1 team.

Team size

Each national team consists of 11 traders. The roster is finalized and published at least 7 days before the season start date. Once the season opens, the roster is locked — no additions or substitutions are permitted mid-season.
If a national team member is disqualified during the season, their contribution is removed from the team score retroactively from the point of violation. The remaining team members’ contributions are not affected. No substitution is permitted.

Accepting a national team invitation

1

Receive invitation

If selected, you will receive a direct communication from the 0x1 team via the contact method associated with your Aster account or 0x1 profile. Invitations go out TBA weeks before the season opens.
2

Sign the team agreement

Review and accept the Season 1 national team agreement, which covers the rules, prize distribution terms, and the 0x1 team’s dispute resolution authority for the season.
3

Confirm your Aster account

Link the Aster trading account whose activity will be scored. This must be the same account used to meet the selection criteria. Switching accounts after acceptance is not permitted.
4

Season opens

Your profile goes live on the Partnership leaderboard. Followers can begin attaching to your team. Trade as normal — all qualifying Aster activity is captured automatically.
Being a national team anchor means followers will mirror your trades. Consider that your position sizing and leverage choices affect not only your own score but the experience of everyone following you. This is reflected positively in the follower retention metrics shown on your dashboard.
