For Season 1, Korea and Japan each field a national team — a curated roster of the country’s strongest Aster traders, hand-picked by the 0x1 team based on on-chain historical performance. National team traders carry more weight in the country score calculation than supporters and receive more visibility.

What an official national trader is

Pre-selected roster

National team traders cannot self-apply. The 0x1 team identifies and invites them directly based on Aster on-chain trading history and prior activity. An invitation does not automatically confirm a spot — the final national team roster is locked in before the season opens.

Anchor traders

National team traders serve as anchors that drive their country’s leaderboard. Their PnL is the core of the country score, and theirs are the first profiles followers see when they open the Partnership tab.

Additional benefits

The top 3 selected national traders by PnL are eligible for the official ASTER Ambassador program, VIP access to ASTER/Binance/BNB Chain events, panelist or speaker slots, and ongoing social-media promotion.

Entry support

Official national traders receive an entry support of 5,000 USDT. The PnL portion is withdrawable after the competition ends. Official national traders are not allowed to make any additional deposits beyond the provided entry support.

Selection criteria

0x1 evaluated potential national traders against four criteria. All criteria are based on publicly verifiable on-chain data.
Not the single best month — we look at PnL stability across the 90 days before the selection cut-off. A trader with three consecutive moderate-size profitable months ranks above someone who had one outsized month followed by two months of drawdowns.
Candidates must hit a minimum cumulative volume threshold (TBA USDT notional, 90-day window). This ensures national traders are genuinely active — not one-hit wonders who got lucky once or twice.
Maximum drawdown during the selection window must be below TBA%. Traders who routinely blow past their loss limits are not appropriate anchors for followers mirroring them.
A minimum TBA% win rate on closed positions during the selection window is required. Win rate alone is not enough (a 100% win rate on tiny positions followed by a single catastrophic loss is bad), but it is a baseline that must be met.

Roles within the national team

One trader per national team is designated captain. The captain’s profile is featured first on the leaderboard. Being captain does not change scoring weight — the title is representational and comes with extra individual rewards. Captains are chosen by the 0x1 team from the national roster.

Team size

Each national team consists of 11 traders (22 in total across both countries). Rosters are finalized and announced at least 2~3 days before the season starts. Once the season opens, the roster locks — no additions or substitutions are allowed mid-season.
If a national team member is disqualified during the season, their contributions are removed from the team score retroactively from the moment of the violation. The other team members’ contributions are unaffected. Substitutes are not permitted.

How to accept a national team invitation

1

Receive the invitation

If selected, you will be contacted directly by the 0x1 team using the contact details registered with your Aster account or 0x1 profile. Invitations are sent TBA weeks before the season opens.
2

Confirm participation

Review and accept your final participation in the Season 1 national team. Make sure you understand the rules, prize distribution terms, and the 0x1 team’s authority to handle in-season disputes.
3

Confirm your Aster account

Link the Aster trading account that will be scored. It must be the same account used to qualify against the selection criteria. Switching accounts after acceptance is not allowed.
4

Season opens

Your profile goes live on the Event tab leaderboard. Followers will start joining your team. Trade as you normally would — qualifying Aster activity is captured automatically.
Being a national team anchor means followers are mirroring your trades. Position sizing and leverage choices affect not only your score but also the experience of every follower. This shows up positively in the follower retention metrics on your dashboard.
